	Feldpost cover with Hamburg Grossflottbek 1 25 May, 1941 CDS addr to a crew member on board the Battleship "BISMARK" (Feldpost No M-16287). Has red returned h/s (in German) NOT DELIVERABLE RETURN TO SENDER. The Bismarck was Germany's most feared warship during WWII. On 21 May, 1941 the Bismarck sailed from Bergen to the North Atlantic on what was to be her final ill-fated voyage. On 24 May the Bismarck sunk the HMS Hood and damaged the HMS Prince of Wales. It was later sunk by torpedo bombers & gunfire from other British ships. VF
